A testimonial from one of our members who attended
a Julie Moir Messervy event:
"In 2000, at a conference in
Toronto, I attended my first lecture by Julie Moir Messervy. Her
concept of spatial archetypes, how the spaces we create are
experienced and the kind of psychological and spiritual impact
they have on us, changed my design approach. I had always been
drawn to what she defines as the Harbor Shape, the safest and most
comfortable human space. The Toronto Music Garden she designed
with Yo-Yo Ma takes landscape design to a completely different
level, marrying design, art, spirituality and music. It is a jewel
and I carry inspirations of it with me to this day."
