2008 APLD Oregon
Chapter CALENDAR OF EVENTS:
New
this spring, we will be starting a series of “Design
Charette” evenings open to all members as well as
other landscape designers, where anyone may bring a
current plan and get group input on its design. These
cooperative events will allow those members whose
businesses may operate independently (most of us) to get
feedback and ideas from others, to the benefit of all.
On
the larger scale, we are bringing internationally-known
landscape designer Robin Templar Williams to Portland
this fall for a two-day design workshop. We will
continue to seek out and offer these types of high-end
design programs annually, as possible.

2008 SPECIAL EVENT!

2008 ROBIN TEMPLAR WILLIAMS DESIGN WORKSHOP:
APLD
Oregon is pleased to announce we will be
bringing this world-famous designer to
Portland in early November of 2008 for an intensive
two-day workshop.
In
brief, the workshop will focus on spatial
relationships, hierarchies of shapes,
effects of perspective on shape(s), and
creating balance between mass and void in
the landscape. Advance reservations will be available in
the spring of 2008, with a deposit required
to reserve your space. More information about
specific dates and fees will be available
soon.
