APLD
Oregon
Certification Workshops for 2008
The
Association of Professional
Landscape Designers offers a
national certification program that
provides professional recognition to
landscape designers, based on
established standards of excellence.
Certification is available for
Associate APLD members in good
standing, who have been practicing
landscape design for a minimum of
four years. The APLD®
Certification Review Panel convenes
four times each year to review
applications. For the current review
schedule, applications are due the
first of the months of January,
March, August, or November.
APLD Oregon will offer
3 workshops
in 2008 to answer your questions on APLD
certification:
-
Feb. 11th,
Monday (Layton's)
-
July 8th,
Tuesday (Hilty's)
-
Nov. 19th,
Wednesday (Layton's)
-
All workshops
are
from 9:30-11:30am
If there is enough interest in Bend,
Eugene or other areas of the state,
a certification workshop could be
arranged. Please contact
Barb
Hilty.
-
Certification workshops are open
to landscape designers getting
ready for APLD certification.
These are informal workshops
designed to answer your
questions, so come with plans in
hand. Everyone is welcome...
whether you are just thinking of
getting certified or you have
everything ready and just want a
final critique before sending
your submission in.
-
Note:
Please bring questions and a set
of plans, or a partial submittal
or a completed one!
For further questions or to rsvp for
your attendance at a workshop,
please contact
Barb Hilty or
Libbi Layton.
Please see the
APLD
website
for additional certification
information.
