CEUs: What are they?
-
Continuing education units are required by many
professions in order to ensure that members are
keeping up with the latest information and
techniques in their fields. APLD encourages
members to continue their education by requiring
recertification every three years with at least 30
credit hours of continuing education.
-
CEUs must be geared toward the professional
landscape designer, and may be acquired by attending
APLD conferences, conferences sponsored by other
horticultural or landscaping organizations, or
events sponsored by educational institutions such as
arboretums, botanical gardens, community colleges or
universities
-
For more details about CEUs, APLD members should
visit the Members Only section of the APLD website
and login.
