mentoring the landscape students who are participating in the
Willamette
West Habitat for Humanity Design Competition
sponsored by APLD Oregon
This charrette is meant
as a learning experience for all attendees, seasoned
designers as well as those just beginning. It is a time
to ask questions, explore new and different ideas and
have fun in the process! |

Habitat for Humanity Planting Day:
Our chapter will once again be helping the
Willamette West Habitat for Humanity program by
putting new plants in the ground for this year's new
homeowners. The students who won our first annual HfH
Design contest will see their designs come to life at

This is a terrific site with
a slope challenge. Four levels and impressive concrete
work together to fit into the hillside and feel right.
The visit will focus on the block wall, gravel paths,
concrete work and drainage. Designs will be presented
with discussion of challenges and achievements!
Please car pool. Parking is available on a long driveway
but there is no street parking.
